Continental Middle East DMCC is the regional office and legal entity of Continental AG for the Middle East region; a producer of passenger, van, truck and specialty tires.
Continental was founded in Hannover, Germany, in 1871 and established itself in the Middle East in 2008, working with a local partner to represent each of its brand in each country that it operates. The Continental brands sold in the Middle East include Continental, General Tire, Barum, Matador, Mabor, Semperit and Uniroyal, selling to countries including Afghanistan, Bahrain, Djibouti, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen. In 2015 the company established itself as a legal entity in the region and at the end of 2017 Continental launched a new range of tires under its’ Continental brand, ‘Generation 6’, which offers robust tires designed to fit local cars - engineered in Germany, made in Europe and designed for the Middle East. The local Continental team is committed to working with local partners to understand customer needs and to provide the best quality products for all vehicles.
